Emily B. is an experienced attorney currently serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General, focusing on criminal appeals and government accountability since April 2022. Prior to this role, Emily worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bernalillo County District Attorney’s Office and as an Assistant Prosecutor at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. Emily has also held positions such as Chief Managing Editor for The Ohio State Law Journal, Legal Extern at the United States Attorneys' Offices, and Legal Intern at NiSource, among others. Emily holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Spanish from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
