Environmental and Resource Management Team

The Environmental and Resource Management Team at the New Mexico State Land Office is responsible for ensuring the sustainable use and protection of the state's land and resources. This interdisciplinary team coordinates efforts to optimize revenue generation from land use while maintaining ecological balance and safeguarding the environment for future generations. Their activities include environmental assessments, land planning, wildlife conservation, auditing oil and gas royalties, and managing mineral resources.
