Katrina Adamczyk (Hucks)

Katrina (Hucks) Adamczyk, M.S., is a wildlife biologist and conservationist with extensive experience in biological resource investigations and habitat restoration, currently working at the New Mexico State Land Office since December 2020. Prior roles include serving as a biologist and project manager at TRC Companies, Inc., where surveys of wildlife and environmental assessments were conducted, and as an avian biologist at Hawks Aloft, Inc., focusing on raptor surveys and rescue. Additional experience encompasses positions such as hawk counter in Panama, citizen science educator, graduate assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and research assistant at the University of Central Oklahoma. Adamczyk holds a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in biological sciences.
