Katy Duhigg

Katy Duhigg is an accomplished attorney with a focus on election law, wrongful foreclosure, insurance bad faith, wrongful death, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, and catastrophic injuries. Currently serving as an attorney at Sutin, Thayer & Browne A Professional Corporation since June 2023, Katy Duhigg has also held the position of State Senator in the New Mexico State Legislature since January 2021. Previous roles include attorney at Duhigg & Osborn Law, LLC from May 2021 to June 2023, City Clerk for the City of Albuquerque from August 2018 to December 2019, and attorney at The Duhigg Law Firm from March 2009 to August 2018. Earlier experience includes serving as a House Judiciary Analyst for the NM Legislature and as Election Protection Coordinator for Common Cause. Katy Duhigg obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of New Mexico School of Law between 2005 and 2008.
