Julia Parra

Julia Parra is an accomplished educator and leader in the field of online learning and curriculum development. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at New Mexico State University since August 2010, Julia coordinates Learning Design & Technology Programs and directs the Online Teaching and Learning Graduate Certificate Program. With extensive experience in mentoring and faculty roles in various leadership institutes, Julia also contributes as a Board Member for AMISTAD Family Services and serves as a Quality Matters Peer Reviewer. Julia's commitment to advancing online education is further exemplified through their previous role on the Board of Directors for the Online Learning Consortium and their facilitation of online teaching certificate courses. Julia holds a Doctoral degree in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University and multiple degrees from New Mexico State University, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in education.
