Rich Barbier

Vice President, Consumer Insights & Analytics at New Orleans Pelicans

Rich Barbier has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Rich started their career as a CRMS Summer Operations Analyst at Citi in 2008, where they designed and developed a database to assist in data tracking and delivered managerial level presentations. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they designed data gathering tools and developed business case analysis reports. Rich then joined T. White Parker Associates in 2010 as a Sr. Management Consultant, where they redesigned agency-wide systems and developed cost estimation forecasting models. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Associate at Deloitte, where they supported two Fortune 500 companies in optimizing firm operations. Rich joined Deloitte again in 2016 as a Senior Consultant and later became a Manager, responsible for managing projects. Most recently, they held the role of Strategy and Operations at the WNBA from 2019 to 2022. In 2022, they joined both the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans as Vice President of Consumer Insights & Analytics.

Rich Barbier completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, Management, and Organizational Behavior at NYU Stern School of Business from 2005 to 2009. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Managerial Analytics, Marketing, and Management & Operations at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
