Chad Hays

Chad Hays is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at New Relic, Inc. since October 2021, Chad previously held various engineering leadership roles at Cerner Corporation from June 2008 to October 2021, culminating in the position of Director & Principal Engineer. Throughout the tenure at Cerner, Chad demonstrated expertise in delivering multiple market products, providing architectural oversight, and leading the development of mobile clinical communication solutions, including the iOS and Android variants of CareAware Connect. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Missouri State University.
