Christopher Hynes

Christopher Hynes is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading and developing software solutions. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at New Relic, Inc. since August 2022, Hynes previously held the position of Distinguished Architect at BlackBerry from January 2021 to August 2022. Prior roles include Software Engineer Associate Principal at Cylance Inc., Senior Software Engineer at Wacom Technology, and Programmer at Bethesda Softworks. Hynes began their career as a Software Engineer at Electronic Arts - Tiburon and served as Information Systems Coordinator at Cornell University Public Service Center. Hynes graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University in May 2002.
