Scott Cutler

Scott Cutler is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Principal Security Engineer at New Relic since January 2019, where responsibilities include leading the architecture and implementation of the Security Operations Center and overseeing vulnerability management and cloud threat detection efforts. Previous roles at New Relic include Lead Security Engineer and Senior Product Security Engineer, focusing on internal security processes and threat detection. Prior experience includes a position at EY as Senior Advisory Cybersecurity Application Security, where Scott performed security reviews and penetration tests, as well as roles at Aspect Security, InfoGard Laboratories, Emulex, and UC Irvine in various engineering and consulting capacities. Scott holds a BS in Information and Computer Science from UC Irvine and completed the International Baccalaureate program at Newbury Park High School.
