Jarred Phillips

Jarred Phillips is an experienced science educator currently serving as an Upper School Science Teacher at New Roads School since August 2022, focusing on engaging, hands-on biology instruction for ninth graders and advanced students in eleventh and twelfth grades. Previously, Jarred worked as a Science Content Manager at Albert | Learn By Doing, where oversight of author teams facilitated the creation of high-level test questions across various science subjects. Earlier roles included Environmental Science Teacher at Synergy Quantum Academy and High School Science Teacher at Rancocas Valley Regional High School, where innovative, standards-based curriculum development was key. Jarred began a teaching career in middle school science at Eastampton School District and gained foundational experience as an Urban Teaching Fellow through the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Yale University and a Master of Science in Teaching from Rutgers University.
