Summer E. has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Summer began their career in 2008 at Aurora San Diego as a Mental Health Counselor and PROACT Trainer. Summer then worked at Aurora Behavioral Health System, where they held various roles including Mental Health Technician, Quality Coordinator, and Director of Quality Improvement & Risk Management. In 2017, they joined Signature Healthcare Services as the Regional Director of Risk Management & Accreditation. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Quality at NewVista Healthcare.

Summer E. has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from California State University, Fullerton. Summer also has a Master of Public Health degree with a specialization in Health Services Administration from the University of Arizona.
