Musa Hussain is a dedicated researcher and advocate with a strong background in political science and sociology, having earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in May 2023. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at The New York Academy of Medicine, Musa previously coordinated transportation and recreation advocacy at the University of Connecticut's Undergraduate Student Government. Experience includes editorial work with the UConn Undergraduate Political Review, internships focused on climate change and policy advocacy with the Smithsonian Associates and Greater New Haven Clean Cities Coalition, as well as roles supporting the U.S. Senate and Yale School of Management.
