Milad Nouri

Milad Nouri is a dedicated researcher and teaching assistant specializing in energy systems and sustainable building design, currently serving as a Research Assistant in Sunlab at the University of Ottawa since January 2023. Nouri's expertise includes the design and simulation of photonic power converters, high-power laser applications, and collaboration on innovative power plant designs encompassing solar energy systems, wind energy, biomass-to-biofuels conversion, and geothermal analysis. Nouri's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Energy and Power Plant at the University of Ottawa and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology, where prior experience encompassed research in airborne wind turbines, fuel cells, and teaching roles covering various engineering subjects.
