Amanda Waggoner

Amanda Waggoner is an experienced professional with a strong background in education policy and social innovation. Currently serving as the Education Policy Center Admin at the New York Civil Liberties Union since January 2022, Amanda previously worked as a Social Innovation Coach with Dent Education and as the Literacy, Partnerships, and College Access Coordinator at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Additional roles include serving as a Special Events Server at Belvedere and Co. Events and various positions at Loyola University Maryland, including Resident Assistant and Front Desk Assistant. Amanda began their career as a Social Media Strategy Intern at The Poetry Society of New York and has held several administrative and customer service positions. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Loyola University Maryland and also studied at Newcastle University.
