Andrew Kaplan serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital & Banking Service Officer of New York Community Bancorp, Inc. Mr. Kaplan has worked in the banking industry for 34 years, including 28 years with NYCB. Throughout his career, he has been known to be innovative and responsive while delivering consistent results for the Bank. His demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to perform led to his appointment as the Bank’s Chief Digital and Banking Service Officer, a newly created position that speaks highly of his reputation within the organization as a thoughtful and progressive leader. As the Chief Digital and Banking Service Officer, he is the point person in leading the bank’s digital transformation strategy including forging relationships with FinTech companies and using those relationships to garner core deposits, increase fee income, and improve product distribution.

Mr. Kaplan earned his MBA from Fairfield University and holds a BBA in Finance from Pace University (Cum Laude). He is a graduate of the National School of Banking and holds the FINRA Series 24, 7, and 63 licenses as well as multiple state licenses for Life, Accident, and Health Insurance. He served on the Board of Advisors for the American Bankers Association's School of Bank Card Management. Mr. Kaplan has received various professional awards and recognition including being recognized by Bank Investment Consultant Magazine as one of the nation’s Top Program Managers and by Long Island Business News as “One to Watch” in banking.
