Damel Austin

Damel Austin began their work experience in 1997 as a Network Administrator at Too Brands (Limited Too), where they administered network workstations and evaluated and recommended computer and networking equipment. Damel then moved on to work as an Internet Engineer II at AmTrust Bank in 2004, where they played a crucial role in the development and support of internet and web-based platforms. In 2005, they joined New York Community Bancorp, Inc. (NYCB) as a Software Systems Engineer Lead, where they communicated with IT groups and customers to define system requirements, provided leadership and guidance to technical colleagues, and optimized information processing within the production environment.

Damel Austin completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems at The Ohio State University from 1988 to 1993. Damel then pursued an MBA at Cleveland State University's Graduate School of Management (IST) from 2006 to 2009.
