David Cruz

David Cruz has extensive work experience in various roles. David started their career at Target in 2009, where they worked as a Guest Service Team Member and later became a GSA and a Guest Service Team Lead. In 2012, they joined Crumbs Bake Shop as a Sales Associate and advanced to roles such as Team Leader, Store Manager, and Corporate Trainer. In 2017, David joined Apple as a Specialist and later became a Backstage Specialist. Since 2014, they have been associated with New York Edge, where they held positions such as After School Program Director, Program Manager, Education Specialist, Program Director, and Director of Summer Programming Implementation - Interim Acting. Currently, David serves as the Director of Program Operations for Queens and Staten Island at New York Edge.

David Cruz earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from Ithaca College, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. David later pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a specialization in Organizational Management Leadership at Hunter College from 2022 to 2024.
