Shihadah S. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in youth programming and STEM education. Currently serving as the Director of Youth Programs and Pathways at the New York Hall of Science since June 2022, Shihadah also holds the position of 92Y WiP Fellow with 92Y Women inPower since January 2022. Additionally, Shihadah has been a Manager of Teen Leadership Programs at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum since December 2007, overseeing initiatives like the Greater Opportunities Advancing Leadership and Science (GOALS) for Girls and the Youth Leadership Institute. As the Co-founder and Director of GOALS for Girls, Shihadah focuses on inspiring and empowering girls in STEM fields and careers. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Geological Oceanography from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Alfred University. Shihadah completed a high school diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Townsend Harris High School.
