Disha Nagasiddappa Somashekar possesses a diverse professional background, currently serving as a Cyber Security Operations Analyst and a Board Member of Women in NYISO (WIN) at NYISO since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles at MITRE and the National Security Agency as part of the INSuREHub initiative, as well as leadership positions at Jagdish Sheth School of Management, where Disha led the Intellectual Capital and Knowledge Co-Creation Committee and served as Creative Content Head for Kanyathon 2021. Disha has also held the position of Sports Vice President at IFIM Institutions and worked as a Transaction Risk Investigator at Amazon. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity from the University at Albany, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a focus on International Business and Analytics from JAGSoM, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology.
