Andreas John

Andreas John possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a Member of the Executive Team and Head of Asset Management at E.DIS since October 2021, following a role as Head of Grid Technology. Previously, Andreas held the position of Head of System Operations at 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, focusing on security of supply and system management amidst the energy transition. Key past roles include Group Vice President and Head of Marketing & Sales at ABB, and Strategic Project Leader at Swissgrid AG, where Andreas successfully led significant projects and reduced operational costs. Andreas holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from TU Dortmund University and has pursued further leadership education at INSEAD and IMD.
