Tivoli Evans

Tivoli Evans has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Math Tutor for the Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District. In 2012, they were a Photography Assistant for Mike Mesikep Photography. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Peer Academic Advisor at UC Irvine, assisting students with scheduling and administrative tasks. In 2015, they interned for Suzanne Bonamici for Congress. In 2016, they briefly worked as an Associate Administrator for Jessica Lang Dance. They then transitioned to education roles, working at Playgarden NYC as a Lead Preschool Teacher and later as the Dance Program Director. From 2017 to 2020, they continued their work at Playgarden NYC as an Assistant Preschool Teacher and Lead Preschool Teacher. In 2020, they joined Wetherby-Pembridge School as the Lead Preschool Teacher and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator, where they focused on creating an inclusive classroom environment and designing and implementing the UK-based curriculum. They are currently working as the Education Director at NY Kids Club & NY Preschool.

Tivoli Evans obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Dance Performance and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from UC Irvine in 2016. They further pursued their education by completing a Master of Science in Teaching degree with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Fordham University between 2019 and 2021. In addition to their academic achievements, Tivoli obtained certifications in CPR/AED/First Aid from the New York State Department of Health in September 2021, as well as an Early Childhood Teacher certification from the NYC Department of Education in April 2021.
