Alex Heroux

Alex Heroux, FSA, FCIA, MAAA, is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in long-term care and group insurance sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Actuary of Long-Term Care at New York Life Insurance Company since September 2016, Alex has held multiple leadership roles including Head of LTC Actuarial and Head of LTC Valuation. Prior to this, Alex worked at Genworth as Head of LTC Model Development and at The Standard Life Assurance Company of Canada as Director of Pricing and Profitability for Group Insurance. Alex's career began at Aon as an Actuarial Analyst. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Université Laval, completed in May 2020.
