Jim August, MBA, CFP®, RICP®, possesses extensive experience in the financial and insurance sectors, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently retired from New York Life Insurance Company, Jim served as VP and Head of Enterprise Architecture, where collaboration with business and IT organizations focused on developing IT road maps. Previous roles include VP and Chief Architect at Prudential Financial, SVP and CIO at Walz Group, and managing positions at PwC Consulting and Ernst & Young. Jim's teaching experience includes an adjunct professor role at Fairleigh Dickinson University, specializing in retirement planning. Educational achievements include an Executive MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and RICP® certification from The American College of Financial Services.
