Thomas Iurato

Thomas Iurato, PMP, currently serves as Corporate Vice President of Risk Management at New York Life Insurance Company since March 2019. Previously, Thomas held the position of Vice President of PMO Risk Systems within Enterprise Risk Management at Synchrony from July 2016 to July 2018, where governance, risk, and compliance initiatives were led, particularly focusing on the Bwise platform. At GE Capital, between April 2014 and July 2016, Thomas managed the Operational Risk team and oversaw the implementation of the Enterprise and Operational Risk system platform. Prior experience at AIG from 2003 to 2014 included roles such as Senior Program Manager, where Thomas contributed to technology strategies for the OpenPages platform, and Product Manager, managing the development of a web reporting application for AIG Investments. Starting the career as a Senior Business Analyst at GoldenSource from 1998 to 2003, Thomas provided consulting services for prominent financial clients. Thomas holds a BS in Finance from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
