Sarah Lesser Esq.

Sarah Lesser, Esq. has a diverse work experience. Sarah'smost recent role is as the Legislative Director at the New York State Senate, where they work directly with Senator Sean Ryan. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant Attorney at the New York State Department of Financial Services, focusing on health insurance policy compliance. Sarah also worked as an Excelsior Fellow/Women Lead Fellow at the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, where they reviewed privacy policies and conducted breach analysis. Additionally, Sarah has experience in legal research and writing, including roles as Managing Editor at the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution and as a Law Clerk at Dealy Silberstein & Braverman, LLP. Sarah has also held positions as a Legal Fellow at the Cardozo Law Institute in Holocaust and Human Rights and as a Research Assistant for the Atrocity Prevention Legal Training Project. Sarah gained international experience as an intern at the United Nations, specifically in the Senior Women Talent Pipeline Field Personnel Division.

Sarah Lesser, Esq. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Sarah then pursued their Doctor of Law (JD) degree at the Cardozo School of Law from 2015 to 2018. Sarah Lesser, Esq. has also been certified as "Admitted to the New York State Bar" by the New York State Unified Court System, which they obtained in January 2019.
