Matthew O'Connell

Matthew O'Connell possesses extensive experience in law enforcement and financial services. Currently serving as a Lieutenant with the New York State Police since January 2014, responsibilities have included leading investigations in the Violent Gang & Narcotics Enforcement Team, preparing legal requests, and contributing to criminal interdiction efforts. Previous roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and RBS Markets & International Banking involved anti-money laundering compliance and trade control, respectively. A background in financial operations is further established through various positions at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, including managing client maintenance for hedge funds and overseeing financial reconciliations. Matthew O'Connell holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta and is a FINRA Series 99 Operations Professional.
