Thatcher Bell has a diverse and extensive work experience. Thatcher currently serves as the Program Director at The Clean Fight, where they help growth-stage clean energy companies scale in New York, with a focus on meeting future energy and efficiency needs while promoting economic opportunity and job creation. Thatcher also holds the role of Program Director, New York, at New Energy Nexus, supporting diverse entrepreneurs to drive innovation and equity in the global clean energy economy.
Prior to these roles, Thatcher was a Visiting Instructor at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management in 2019. Thatcher also has a background in technology and entrepreneurship, having served as the Director and Chair at NY Tech Alliance, as well as the Co-Founder and Partner at CoVenture. Additionally, they have invested in various companies, including KidPass, Greenhouse Software, Inc., Radiator Labs, CultureIQ, and HEVO. Thatcher's work experience reflects their commitment to driving innovation, equity, and sustainability in the clean energy and technology sectors.
Thatcher Bell completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in the years 1993 to 1997. Thatcher then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School, attending from 2003 to 2005.
