Pia Steiner

Pia Steiner serves as the Acting Manager for People & Culture at the New Zealand Electoral Commission since May 2024, while also holding a leadership role as Capability & Organisational Development Lead. Subsequently, Pia is a Founding Member of Excellent since April 2021 and Co-Chief Canary at the Canary Collective since September 2019. Prior experience includes positions as Organizational Development Manager and Principal Advisor Organisational Development at WorkSafe New Zealand, as well as roles at Springload, the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand, Kiwibank, New Zealand Post, Meridian Energy, and Agile Planet, covering various aspects of organizational development, people experience, inclusion and diversity, and learning design. In terms of formal education, Pia pursued a Diploma of Psychology at Open Polytechnic of New Zealand and holds a Certificate in Art and Creativity from The Learning Connexion, along with studies at The Graphic Design School.
