Brendon Green

Brendon Green is a seasoned professional with diverse work experience in various industries. In 2014, they founded Kaitiaki Advisory Limited, where they served as the Founder & Director. Brendon'sexpertise lies in natural resource and infrastructure advisory, focusing on areas such as energy, water, minerals, dairy, forestry, and the Maori economy. Throughout their tenure, they managed several key projects and provided advisory support to various organizations and institutions.

In 2020, Brendon became a Director at Hiringa Energy Ltd, a leading start-up in New Zealand that specializes in developing hydrogen fuels for the market. Brendon works with industry stakeholders, transport operators, regional partners, and the government to make hydrogen fuel a reality.

In 2022, Brendon joined Scion, New Zealand's forest research institute, as a Director. In this role, they oversee research investments in three key areas: forests, timber products, and bio-materials.

Additionally, Brendon serves as a Board Member of Waihanga Ara Rau and as the Co-Chair of the Regional Skills Leadership Group for the Waikato Region, appointed by the New Zealand government. Brendon Green holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Chemical & Process from the University of Canterbury, which they completed from 1989 to 1992. Brendon then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Dairy Science and Technology from Massey University, which they completed from 1993 to 1994. In 2021, they attended the NZ Institute of Directors for a Company Director Course. In 2003, Brendon completed an Advanced Leadership Program at Crotonville Alumni. For their future education, they plan to pursue a Certificate in Circular Economies & Sustainable Strategies from Cambridge Judge Business School, which is scheduled for 2023.
