Tom Brandsma has extensive experience in various management roles. Tom currently works as the Business Manager and Managing Director of Neways Electronics USA, where they lead the business activities and is responsible for new business development and management. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Procurement & Outsourcing at Neways Advanced Applications, overseeing a team of 30 employees and managing a significant budget. Tom also worked at Philips as a Program Manager and Senior Business Consultant, focusing on risk assurance and process excellence in areas such as procurement, supply chain, IT, strategy, and business process improvement. Earlier in their career, they held management positions at Pon, including Manager of Purchasing & Logistics at TOPEC and Program Manager for the development of a new campus for the Pon Power Group. Tom's background also includes a role as a Project Manager at the Energy Solutions Center and a Management Trainee at Pon Holdings. Tom began their career as a Master Thesis Project at Ordina Application Management.

Tom Brandsma attended Serviam (Trevianum) Sittard from 1994 to 2000, where they completed their Gymnasium (VWO) degree. Tom then went on to Eindhoven University of Technology from 2000 to 2007, earning a degree of ir. (MSc.) in Industrial Engineering and Management Science (Technische Bedrijfskunde). In 2007, they obtained a PRINCE2 Foundation Certification. In 2008, they completed the Pon Young Professional - MD Program at Ormit, De Bilt. In 2011, they studied at Caterpillar University Geneva and received a BlackBelt in DMAIC Six Sigma. Lastly, in 2012, they completed the Pon Senior Professional - MD Program, also at Ormit, De Bilt.
