Ben Thomas

Ben Thomas has extensive work experience in the field of reward and benefits management. Ben is currently employed as the Head of Reward at Newcastle Building Society, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, Ben served as the Head of Reward at LSL Property Services plc from August 2017 to April 2023. Ben also worked as a Reward & Benefits Manager at the same company from April 2015 to August 2017. Before their tenure at LSL Property Services plc, Ben held the role of Reward Specialist/Reward Manager at Sage from April 2012 to April 2015. Ben gained further experience at Experian, where they worked as an HR MI Manager from February 2010 to April 2012. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Reward Analyst (EMEA) from September 2007 to January 2010 and as a Reward Analyst (UK) from September 2004 to September 2007. Ben's early career includes a role as a Pensions Analyst at Ontario Pension Board from October 2003 to May 2004.

Ben Thomas pursued their education in various institutions. From 1992 to 1999, they attended Harry Charlton School, where they obtained their A Levels & GCSE's qualifications. Following this, they joined Loughborough College in 1999 and completed an NOCN Advanced Certificate in Computing, specializing in Information Technology in the subsequent year.

In 2000, Ben enrolled at Lancaster University, where they diligently studied Economics and achieved a 1st Class Honours degree in 2003. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued Human Resource Management at Nottingham Trent University from 2008 to 2011, ultimately attaining a Post Graduate Diploma (PgDip).

Throughout their education, Ben displayed a keen interest in various fields such as Economics, Information Technology, and Human Resource Management.
