Marina Resende Santos

Marina Resende Santos is an accomplished professional in the fields of art, literature, and media. Serving as Editor in Chief at Lumpen Magazine since June 2019 and as Associate Director at PUBLIC MEDIA INSTITUTE since September 2018, Marina has a strong editorial background. Additionally, Marina writes for Newcity Art, covering art and cultural events in Chicago. Educational achievements include a Master of Arts in Art/Art Studies from weißensee kunsthochschule berlin and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from the University of Chicago. Marina's experience also encompasses research roles at the University of Chicago's German Studies and English Departments, an internship at the Art Institute of Chicago, and a junior researcher position at both Universidade Federal de Viçosa and Colégio de Aplicação - CAp-COLUNI - UFV.
