Dan Bayer

Dan Bayer, CMB has over 17 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Dan currently holds the position of SVP NonQM Development & Strategy at Newfi Lending since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as SVP Correspondent Lending at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions from June 2020 to March 2021 and as VP Correspondent Lending at the same company from May 2019 to March 2020. Dan has also held positions at 5th Street Capital, Inc., Deephaven Mortgage LLC, Radian, Aurora Bank FSB, SunTrust Mortgage, Fortace LLC, and IndyMac Bank. Their roles have included Wholesale Account Executive, Vice President of Client Development, AVP National Account Manager, AVP - Northern California Correspondent, and Regional President. Dan is known for their leadership and expertise in the mortgage industry.

Dan Bayer, CMB received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from California State University-Sacramento in 1989. Prior to that, they attended San Diego State University from 1984 to 1986. Dan also obtained certifications as an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) from the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2004.
