Ara Ramos

Ara Ramos has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2003, they began their career as a Junior Accounts at Veterans Memorial Medical Centre and worked there until 2005. From 2005 to 2011, they served as the Manager of the Accounting Department at Eurokonzept Marketing Philippines, Inc. Ara then joined Bewani Oil Palm Plantations Ltd in 2012 and held various roles such as Senior Accounts Clerk, Junior Account Executive, Senior Accounts Executive, and Assistant Manager in the Accounting Division until 2017. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Manager of the Accounting Division at Bewani Oil Palm Plantations Ltd Group of Companies. In 2020, they worked at Prime Advisory and Outsourcing Solutions as an Accounts Advisor until August 2021. Ara then joined 11154907 Canada Inc as an Accountant from June 2020 to March 2023. Currently, they are working as a Customer Service Representative at Newfoundland Power from March 2023 onwards.

Ara Ramos has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 2001, Ara attended the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. They then attended Bow Valley College from 2020 to 2022, studying Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Financial Management. During this time, in 2021 to 2022, Ara also obtained their LLQP Licensure from the IFSE Institute, specializing in Life, A&S, Segregated Funds & Ethics. In 2022, Ara furthered their education at the IFSE Institute, completing the Canadian Investment Funds Course. Additionally, Ara has obtained various certifications such as the Administrative Assistant Skills Assessment (from TestDome), QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, ProFile Tax, and Microsoft Excel certifications. They have also completed NL SkillsPass programs in Communication, Customer Service, and Dealing with Difficult People, offered by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. Finally, Ara holds the Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor certification from Intuit.
