P.eng Melissa Noftle

Melissa Noftle, P.Eng has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Melissa started their career at The Atlantic Barite in 2010 as a Project Engineering Student. Melissa then moved on to Newfoundland Power as a Regional Operations Engineering Student in 2010. In 2011, they worked at ExxonMobil as a Facilities Engineering Student. After that, they joined Vale as an E&I Reliability Engineering Student in 2012. Melissa continued their journey at Vale as a Junior Electrical Maintenance Engineer, EIT from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Aker Solutions. Melissa is currently working at Newfoundland Power, starting as a Regional Planning Engineer from 2015 to 2017. Melissa then became the Team Lead Distribution Services from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they took on the role of an Operations Engineer until 2019. Melissa'smost recent role at Newfoundland Power is the Manager of Regional Engineering, which they held from 2019 until 2023. Currently, Melissa holds the position of Manager of Regional Operations at Newfoundland Power, starting in 2023.

Melissa Noftle, P.Eng has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and mathematics. Melissa first attended Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2004 to 2008, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical Engineering at the same institution, completing their studies from 2008 to 2013.
