Sonia Tay

Sonia Tay has a diverse work experience in various industries. Sonia started their career as a Waitress at Wild Honey PTE LTD in 2014 and later worked as a Server at Boost Juice Bars UK in 2016. In 2017, they interned at Reebonz - Your World of Luxury as a Marketing Intern, where they gained experience in content creation, social media management, and performance analysis. Sonia then worked as a Food Counter Clerk at The Big Cheese from 2018 to 2019 and as a Cashier at Zouk Group for a brief period in 2018. In 2018, Sonia also worked as a Baker at Bonsbakesg. In 2021, they interned as a Commercial Assortment Intern at Love, Bonito. Currently, they are associated with Newish Communications, where they have held roles as a Public Relations Trainee (Events), Public Relations Specialist, and currently serves as the Director of Public Relations.

Sonia Tay's education history begins with their secondary school education at CHIJ Secondary from 2011 to 2014. Sonia then attended Temasek Polytechnic from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Diploma of Education in Communication and Media Studies. In 2016, Sonia participated in a Global Citizenship Exchange Programme at The University of Western Australia. Sonia later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies at The University of Queensland from 2019 to 2023. Finally, in 2024, they completed their education at The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Communications (Honours) degree, specializing in Communication and Media Studies.
