Marc Cadrin

Marc Cadrin, P.Eng, has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Acting Director of Technical Services for the Galore Creek Project at Newmont Corporation since August 2018, where responsibilities include mine optimization, strategic mine planning, and financial modeling. Previously, Marc held various positions at Barrick Gold Corporation from July 2009 to July 2018, including Manager of Mine Engineering and Senior Mine Engineer, focusing on open pit operational support and project studies. Earlier in the career at Rio Tinto, Marc worked as a Mine Engineer on long-range and short-range planning for Diavik Diamond Mines. Marc Cadrin obtained a B.Eng in Mining Engineering from McGill University and a B.Sc in Geology from the University of Alberta.
