Myrna Edmead

Myrna Edmead, a driven and accomplished individual, embarked on an academic journey in the early 1990s, earning a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics Sciences in 1993. In 1997 she earned a Juris Doctor degree from universidad tecnológica de Santiago in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Seeking new opportunities, Myrna Edmead immigrated to the USA in 1998 and discovered a passion for the hospitality industry. In 2000, Myrna joined Manresa Corporation, a prominent player in the restaurant business, and served as a Restaurant Manager at the Chicken Kitchen branch for five years. The desire for growth led to a transition in 2005 to Newport Beach Side Hotel and Resort, where Myrna began as a Pool Attendant. Over the years, Myrna climbed the ranks, assuming roles such as Activity Coordinator (2008-2010), Director of Pool and Beach (2010-2018), and Front Office Manager (2018-2021).A commitment to personal and professional development prompted Myrna to undertake English studies for academic purposes at Miami Dade County College (2005-2007). Additionally, Myrna pursued a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies in 2007, although this endeavor was temporarily halted in 2009.Throughout Myrna's career, a dedication to excellence led to notable accomplishments, including acquiring a Certificate in Hospitality Management from Florida Atlantic University and a Customer Relations Certificate from Florida International University. In 2021, Myrna assumed the role of assistant Director of Housekeeping, further demonstrating a commitment to excellence in the ever-evolving hospitality industry. Myrna is a testament to the power of persistence, adaptability, and a passion for learning in shaping a successful career in the hospitality sector."
