Arturo Basa

Arturo "Abeh" Basa has extensive experience in the gaming and hospitality industry, currently serving as the AVP for Gaming Ops and Director of Table Games at Newport World Resorts since June 2009. In this role, Arturo manages, supervises, and coordinates daily casino operations, overseeing a variety of table games and gaming tournaments. Prior to this, Arturo worked as the Casino Manager for Star Cruises from December 1993 to March 2009, responsible for all casino operations on board. Arturo holds an Associate's Degree in Hospitality Administration/Management with a major in Casino Operations from TAFE NSW, a Certificate of Completion in Crime Prevention and Security from the US Air Force, and an Engineer's Degree in Civil Engineering from Holy Angel University.
