Ramesh Bettaiah

Ramesh Bettaiah has had a robust work experience spanning over several years in the IT and banking sectors. Ramesh is currently serving as the SVP of IT at NewRez LLC since March 2020. Prior to this, Ramesh worked as a Principal Consultant at Block Infrastructures, LLC, where they provided strategic guidance to executive teams on modernizing systems and transitioning to digital platforms. Ramesh also conducted due diligence for private investors considering investment in mortgage banking companies and evaluated the use of blockchain technology for financial asset securitization.

Before their role at Block Infrastructures, Ramesh held a significant position at New York Community Bank from 2011 to 2018. As the First Senior Vice President - Director, Business Software Solutions, they were responsible for various technology functions, including software development, process reengineering, project portfolio management, and IT governance for the Mortgage Banking business segment. During their tenure, they fostered strong relationships with key stakeholders, third-party service providers, and regulatory institutions while managing a diverse team and a $10 million budget.

Prior to joining New York Community Bank, Ramesh worked at New York Community Bancorp, Inc. as the Director of Mortgage Banking Applications and Vice President. Here, they gained extensive experience in the banking sector before their transition to New York Community Bank.

Ramesh's career began at AmTrust Bank, A Division of New York Community Bank, where they started as a programmer analyst and progressed through various roles, including senior business analyst, lead business systems analyst, and line of business technology director. Eventually, they became the Application Development Manager/Assistant Vice President, overseeing a team of 10+ members and managing a project portfolio with a $2 million operating budget.
