Kristen Drake has extensive experience in clinical and regulatory affairs, particularly in the field of neuromodulation. Kristen has held leadership positions at several companies, including Newronika S.p.A. and Functional Neuromodulation. In their roles, they have been responsible for overseeing clinical trials, managing global operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, Kristen has experience in research quality improvement and corporate regulatory affairs. Their expertise in these areas has contributed to the advancement of deep brain stimulation therapies for memory and cognitive disorders.

Kristen Drake has a diverse education history. Kristen attended Southern Methodist University from 2013 onwards, focusing on Finance and Financial Management Services but did not complete a specific degree. Before that, they attended the University of Michigan from 1992 to 1993, where they obtained a Post-grad degree in Physiology & Pharmacology. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Physiology at Central Michigan University from 1990 to 1992. Their undergraduate studies were conducted at Michigan State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree between 1986 and 1990. Their areas of study during this time included Psychology, BioMedical Engineering, and Economics. Kristen completed their high school education at Dow High School from 1983 to 1986, where they completed the College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Kristen Drake has recently earned a Certificate in VoiceOver/Acting from VoiceCoaches in 2021. Kristen also holds a certification in GCP for Clinical Investigations of Devices from the CITI Program, obtained in September 2021.
