Haibin Cheng

Haibin Cheng has a strong background in machine learning and research. Haibin began their career as a Research Intern at NEC Research Labs in 2006, before moving on to be a Research Intern at Yahoo! Labs in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, they became a Research Scientist at Yahoo! Labs, where they worked until 2012. From 2012 to 2016, Haibin worked at Facebook as a Scientist. Haibin then joined Airbnb as a Machine Learning Engineer from 2016 to 2018. Haibin continued their career at Wish as a Machine Learning Engineer from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Machine Learning Engineer at News Break since June 2019.

Haibin Cheng completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China between 1999 and 2004. Following this, they pursued their Ph.D. in Computer Science at Michigan State University from 2004 to 2008.
