Lisheng Guan

Lisheng Guan has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. They are currently working at NewsBreak as a Software Architect, where they are responsible for building the company's modern analytical data platform and data products. In this role, they work with both local and remote data teams on various projects, including introducing Schema Registry and Hudi to simplify data pipeline processes.

Prior to NewsBreak, Lisheng worked at FreeWheel, where they held various positions. As a Principal Software Engineer, they reported directly to the SVP and played a crucial role in facilitating the growth of the data platform by combining different types of data. They built a Consolidated Data Warehouse and incorporated predictive data to meet the needs of the business. Additionally, they oversaw the big Data App group and developed a team on AWS to support all BI requirements.

Earlier in their career at FreeWheel, Lisheng held roles as a Lead Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. They contributed to the development of key products and backend systems, such as the Revenue & Payment Management (RPM) backend and the Multichannel Revenue Management (MRM) backend.

Before joining FreeWheel, Lisheng worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Inventec and a QA Engineer at Inventec.

Lisheng Guan completed a Bachelor's degree in computer science from Nankai University from 2004 to 2008.
