Yuqing Zhang, MS-HRM

Yuqing Zhang, MS-HRM, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2020, Yuqing worked as a Human Resources Generalist at News Break. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, Yuqing was a People Data Analyst & HR Generalist at HP, where they conducted data analytics, implemented a relocation & layoff initiative, and managed various programs such as promotion cycles and employee engagement events.

Before joining HP, Yuqing worked as a Compensation Intern at The Ohio State University in 2013, where they created and modified job descriptions and participated in compensation surveys. Yuqing also served as the Education and Case Competition Chair during their time at the university. In 2012, Yuqing was a Recruiting Intern at Schlumberger, and in 2010, they worked as a Training Intern at Ericsson.

Additionally, Yuqing has held leadership positions during their academic years, including being the President of the badminton club at Renmin University of China in 2008-2009 and volunteering for the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. Yuqing also gained experience in recruiting as a Recruiting Intern at International Professionals Inc. in 2009, where they collected and researched resumes, conducted phone interviews, and participated in onsite interviews.

Yuqing Zhang holds multiple degrees in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. In 2010, Zhang completed a Bachelor's degree at Renmin University of China. Zhang then pursued a Master's degree at the same institution, which was completed in 2012. Additionally, Zhang pursued a Master of Science degree in Statistics at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2019.

In terms of certifications, Zhang obtained two certifications from Coursera in 2019. These include "Python Data Structures" and "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)".
