Katie le Ruez

Katie Le Ruez currently serves as the Head of Data Governance and Strategy at News Corp since June 2025. Previously, Katie held various leadership positions at The Guardian from January 2006 to June 2025, including Director of Digital, where accountability included overseeing a significant portion of UK advertising revenue and driving data-driven growth amid challenges. As Director of Commercial Strategy and Operations, Katie was tasked with transforming the Advertising department's performance and aligning strategies with budgetary constraints. Additionally, in the role of Head of Commercial Operations, responsibilities encompassed optimizing resources across display advertising and managing cross-department P&L. Earlier in career, Katie worked as a PA to Emily Bell at University College London, where an academic background in English was established, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts degree in January 2001.
