Yaser Alomar

Yaser Alomar is an experienced professional in data strategy, governance, and management with a significant background in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Data Strategy and Governance at Saudi Airlines since November 2022, Yaser is responsible for developing and implementing data strategies and leading the Data Management Office. Prior to this role, Yaser was the Director of Data Governance and Privacy at a confidential government entity and held various positions at SABIC from January 2008 to November 2022, including Project Manager for SAP Master Data Governance and Sr. Manager for Global Master Data Management. Yaser’s earlier experience includes a role as a Planning & Programming Analyst at Saudi Electricity Company from 1998 to 2007. Yaser holds an MBA in Business Administration from Open University Malaysia and a BS in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
