Jerry Barton

Jerry Barton has extensive experience in the technology and information industry. Jerry currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at NewsBank, where they oversee the company's web-based resources. Prior to that, Jerry worked as a Technology Management Consultant and VP Information Technology at BridgeHealth and Ping Identity respectively. Jerry also held leadership positions at LexisNexis and Thomson Reuters, where they led global product and platform development teams. Earlier in their career, Jerry served as the Chief Technical Officer at Medical Media Holdings and Director of Product and Systems Development at ProQuest.

Jerry Barton attended the University of Michigan from 1982 to 1984, where they studied Chemical Engineering. Jerry then transferred to Western Michigan University and completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from 1984 to 1987.
