Rachel Adeyemo

Rachel Adeyemo is a driven and creative project manager with a passion for social advocacy. As the Manager of Special Projects and Operations, Rachel oversees all project plans, information systems, and operational processes for the External Affairs Team at NewSchools Venture Fund. She works closely with the Chief External Affairs Officer as well as the Communications and Development teams to drive the organization’s mission.

Before joining NewSchools, Rachel worked as a program coordinator at a Bay Area nonprofit organization. During her five years there, she provided housing support for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Rachel holds a B.A. in Sociology and Africana Studies from San Diego State University and a M.S. in Project Management from Golden Gate University.
