Carter Figg

Carter Figg's work experience begins in 2011 as a Physical Education/Study Skills Instructor at Eastern Greene Middle School. In 2012, they move on to Figg Investment as a Senior Vice President until 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they work at Solution Tree as a Global PD Sales Manager. In 2016, they join LightSail Education as a Director of District Partnerships until the end of 2017. Carter then transitions to ASCD in 2018 as a Regional Partner Manager until 2019. Currently, they are employed at Newsela, first as a Director of Educational Partnerships starting in November 2019 and later promoted to Senior Director of Educational Partnerships in June 2022.

Carter Figg obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Indiana University Bloomington between 2005 and 2010. They also have a certification in MEDDPICC Masterclass from MEDDICC, obtained in 2022.
