Crystal Miller

Crystal Miller has extensive experience in marketing and demand generation. Crystal is currently the VP of Marketing at Newsela since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Formative from April 2022 to August 2023. Crystal also worked at NWEA, where they were the Senior Director of Demand Generation from May 2020 to April 2022, and the Director of Demand Gen, Field & Product Marketing from August 2017 to May 2020. Before that, they worked at KinderCare Education as the Director of Marketing from May 2015 to July 2017, and as the Sr. Manager, Content Marketing from August 2012 to May 2015. Crystal also has experience as a Content Marketing Manager at Tripwire from March 2010 to October 2012, and as a Sr. Product Marketing Specialist at Inspiration Software, Inc. from September 2006 to March 2010. Crystal started their career as an English as a Second Language Instructor at Wenzhou Medical College from August 2003 to August 2005. Crystal is an alumna of Pacific University, where they were involved from May 2002.

Crystal Miller completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at Pacific University from 1998 to 2002. From 2007 to 2009, they attended Portland State University, focusing on Educational Leadership and Policy with a specialization in Training and Development.
